For children from 6 to 10 years of age
Piccolo concerts, in co-operation with Jeunesse Austria, address children
between 6 and 10 years of age. Various ensembles present fairy tales,
adventures and stories.
The Globetrotters begin the new season with
a percussion show performed without any words and yet which tells magnificent
stories. The young audience is enchanted
in the truest sense of the word in Magic
Brass when classical and contemporary works as well as jazz are on the
Kino für die Ohren (Cinema for the Ears) takes place in the OVAL (venue) where a whole
range of film music can be experienced: from orchestral classical music, folk
and world music to pop music and sound design.
Simsa invites listeners to vivacious music, dances and adventurous stories in
Latin America in his programme With
Bombo, Poncho and Guitar; traditional South-American instruments are played
such as zampoňas, queňas, charangos, bombo and chajchas.
1st concert: The Globetrotters
the world percussionist, and YoYo, a body-drumming road sweeper, embark on a
groovy and amusing journey through new musical worlds.
